Our commitment

Live Panchang aims to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, and high-contrast displays. We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA as our working standard.

Built in

Semantic HTML headings (h1/h2) on every page, full keyboard navigation with visible focus, sufficient color contrast against the dark theme, reduced-motion friendly UI (the clock and date widgets pause when prefers-reduced-motion is set), text alternatives for meaningful icons, and a language toggle (English/Hindi).

Conformance status

We are continuously improving conformance. If you find an accessibility barrier, tell us via the Contact page with the page URL and a description of the issue — we aim to fix reported issues within two weeks.

Third-party caveat

Embedded third-party content (e.g. verification references such as drikpanchang.com) may not fully meet our accessibility standards.
